Traditionally used to 'dunk' biscotti into, Quince Vino Cotto is also perfect to include in a steamed ginger pudding, drizzle over buttermilk pancakes or good vanilla bean ice cream. It can be used as an alternative to honey as well, when baking cakes and biscuits. For an easy gourmet touch, use Quince Vino Cotto, just as is, for a sauce with grilled lamb, duck breast or veal.
Use it to deglaze the pan after searing beef fillets and you will have a beautiful syrupy sauce to drizzle over the meat.
