The Shin Cha recalls the simplicity of the traditional British teapot. The handcrafted drip-less spout on the heat resistant Borosilicate glass sphere provides the classic look, while the patented Bodum tea press strainer gives it a modern and practical twist. The durable stainless steel filter makes it an easy solution for brewing loose leaf tea or tea bags. Freshly boil water, swirl some boiling water round the carafe to warm it, then place your preferred tea leaves or tea bags in the strainer, pour in the hot water, place the plunger in the strainer. Wait for 3-4 minutes, depending on the type of tea used and press down the plunger. This stops the brewing process so that you won’t get “stewed” tea. The depressed plunger also locks in the tea leaves or bags so no strainer is needed.
The 1 litre size yields up to 4 cups of tea. |
