Bodum’s Assam tea pots feature quality construction and an attractive spherical design. The Borosilicate glass carafe and stainless steel filter and lid will endure many years of use. Freshly boil water, swirl some boiling water round the carafe to warm it, then place your preferred tea leaves or tea bags in the strainer, pour in the hot water, place the plunger in the strainer. Wait for 3-4 minutes, depending on the type of tea used and press down the plunger. This stops the brewing process so that you won’t get “stewed” tea. The depressed plunger also locks in the tea leaves or bags so no strainer is needed.
The 0.5 litre size yields 2 cups while the 1 litre size yields 4 cups. |
