We were grabbed many years ago now by the idea of growing our own vegetables, herbs and salads. We had come across what was then a fledgling company, Seeds of Italy, who had introduced the Italian Seed Company, Franchi, to the UK. The quality and quantity of these seeds is second to none. Each year our selection gets bigger and bigger. Paolo Arrigo who started the company has also produced a great book "From Seed to Plate. Growing to Eat Italian Style". A great present is a combination of the book and a selection of the seeds. |
