I have always loved lacquerware but when I came across genuine Vietnamese lacquerwork in the 1980s, I was hooked. Lacquery is an art that has been practiced in Vietnam since the 12th century.
Using natural lacquer from the lacquer tree which grows in Northern Vietnam, our lacquerware for the table is entirely handmade in Vietnam and each piece is the result of a thorough and long fabrication process which can last up to 2 months. Our pieces are totally scumptuous, decorated with silver and gold leaf and in some cases just a smattering of Swarovski crystals. Each piece is entirely unique.
The range includes charger plates and coasters (with matching fabric placemats) and tealight holders.
