What I have always looked for in a handbag is a stylish design made in the softest leathers or washable fabrics; sufficient room to carry all my stuff easily; ability to organise the stuff inside; and relative lightness. We already carry around enough weight inside our bags without adding to it by starting out with an overly heavy leather item that looks like it’s big enough to hold a workout kit. Too many of these icons are frankly over-the-top in design as well as price.
